Cr​.​Ramesh's Attendance at far right Hindu Supremacist Speech

#HINDUTVA_HATRED and hate mongers driving foreign agendas do not represent pluralistic values of Hinduism or the inclusive ethos of Indians or multicultural Australia_

Cr. Ramesh should clearly condemn the far right Hindu supremacist Tejasvi Surya and the decision by groups associated with the #HINDUTVA _HATRED ecosystem in Australia to give him a platform in Australia. If she cannot do this, she must resign

Our community calls on Wyndham Councillor Sahana Ramesh to resign after showing her support of right-wing nationalist Hindutva politician, Tejasvi Surya at a political event in Thornbury.

Our Muslim, Hindu, Christian and Sikh brothers, and sisters must condemn any support of right-wing nationalists with racist and bigoted views including towards Arabic women in our community.

There is NO place for people who support hate speech, targeting Muslims, Christians, Jews and Dravidians. Elected representatives of Wyndham City Council are supposed to stand against fascist people like Tejasvi Surya.

But Cr. Ramesh Sahahne despite knowing Tejasvi Surya's hate speech in Sydney, went ahead and attended the event at Thornbury which was organised by BJP party. This event was exclusive for BJP party members and other who bought the tickets were denied entry.

Sahana Ramesh must resign, and our community must stand united against sexism, racism, and bigots.

Since his arrival in Australia, he has been promoting hate speech and there also has been a flood of Islamophobia on social media pages.

Tejasvi has a well-documented and deeply problematic history of misogyny, bigotry, hate mongering and Islamophobia. He is a member RSS a fascist organisation established on the ideology of Nazi Germany…
