Yesterday my daughter Samirah and I saw a nasty car crash involving a young school age cyclist . My daughter was initially shocked, but as we drove closer to her school  she became increasingly outraged at how unsafe for students the whole roading system is around that area ....... and wants to petition the council to have wider bike lanes that run the whole journey, less car parks and more bus routes. 

Child safety should be the most important factor when we design roading layout around schools. Bus services for our children can also get many cars out of the area during peak hours. Please sign this petition and write to your representatives Cr. Catherine Stewart and Cr. lets send them a clear message that we care about kids more than cars.
