Animals rights need to be recognised in our society.

Animals rights need to be recognised in our society.
The issue
I believe that Animal rights are not accounted into our everyday lives. Animals rights are a sense of respect from humans to animals. Animals clearly have weaker rights than us humans, so we need to step in to care for them to create a safe and warm environment.
I am creating this petition to let people know what can happen if you are not cautious of your actions. You may not know, that you could be contributing or witnessing animal cruelty. The cases that you see on tv could be something that you have purchased, donated money to or even seen in action.
The headlines all around the world, stating animal cruelty and animal rights. How Animals have been treated in ‘deplorable conditions’ and it’s taken so long for people to realise that it is a common problem in society
‘Texas animal cruelty raids net man with 230 pets living in ‘deplorable conditions’.’
ABC News 11 August
‘Dog Shoved in Dryer Examined by a Vet and Returned to Owner as Police ID Teen Suspect.’
People.com 15 August
‘Lewisville Police Investigating Girl Who Livestreamed Video of Her Dog in a Clothes Dryer.’
Dallas Observer 13 August
‘Australian Government introduces laws to crack down on animal rights protesters’
The Advocate 16 July
‘India’s Amber Fort elephant joyrides come under fire from animal rights protesters’
South China morning post 13 August
Some of these cases may not be in Australia but it doesn’t mean that we can’t do something about it. Why should we be forced to be silent about something that we are passionate about, and want to prove. Some people need to open there eyes to the things that are actually happening in our world.
I want you to sign this petition because it will hopefully get to our mayor. She can then send it off to higher members of parliament, which they then can propose more ideas, leading to a bigger movement. Please sign this petition so we can take a step towards animal equality.
