In Cincinnati, as a sixth grader, you have two choices. Go to Walnut Hills High School, or fail in life. CPS's elementary systems don't present other schools as options because other schools aren't options. WHHS takes up a large amount of the CPS budget annually, despite the thousands they recieve each year from alumni and endowment. Other schools in the Cincinnati Public School system are lacking resources and funding, but Walnut still recieves more money than they need. Meanwhile, at my high school, we only got walls in our classrooms three years ago. We don't even have a regulation-sized gym while Walnut has two. We only have three real sport teams at our school despite Walnut having dozens. Walnut Hills High School has too much funding, and the other schools in CPS are barely keeping their heads above the water. So, please sign in hopes of dividing the funding between our schools equally.
