MAKE CPP DISABILITY BENEFIT SAME AS CERB AMOUNT
The Issue
People with a long term disability deserve to have their CPP benefit equal to the CERB or EI benefit amount.
Given the increased cost of living, the current CPP disability benefit amount is NOT nearly enough, to ensure a basic quality of life.
The monthly CPP disability amount is HALF of EI and CERB benefits.
Individuals living with a long term disability are NOT any less than people who are temporarily unemployed!
