On October 26th, 2022, Coventry residents were notified of a proposal to develop the beautiful green space that abuts the Wood Estates neighborhood, specifically against the backyards of residents on Wood Cove Drive, and Wisteria Drive. The proposal is called “Coventry Crossings Mixed-Use Development”. The proposal is calling for 168 mixed use residences, affordable housing, and a large soccer complex all squeezed into 30 acres. This project will be devastating to our community and our environment. Adding hundreds of cars, traffic, pollution, plummeting home values , and thousands of people on the weekends going to the proposed soccer complex adding unnecessary congestion to our residential neighborhood, and our town. 

The Planning Commission must put a halt to this proposal and deny any variance to zoning and development of this property.

My name is Chris Schuler, I'm an independent resident who is fed up with bad decisions negatively impacting our community to the benefit of large, corporate developers, at the expense of our community members.
