The pub is now up for review on the 10th of may we would like to ask the community for all the support and help we can get to help save the tiger moth. The police are basing this on 2 incidents that have happened, one incident was between and a friend whilst filling the fridges which paddy ended up injured, this wasn’t reported to the police as it was a innocent incident between friend. The second incident was the recent shooting at the pub which was reported and dealt with instantly and we want our community to know this incident was nothing to do with anybody in our pub the pub just happened to get caught in the crossfire between a problem going on elsewhere, nothing like that has ever happened before here and we can reassure you this would never happen again. They have also made a point of having lock ins that happen after hours but we all know that most pubs in this city have lock ins with friends, family and customers. Another point being made is accusations of drugs/drug dealing happening in the pub, most pubs in the country would have had at least one person in there pub who has taken or sold drugs, these people could be young people age 20 or people age 50 or above either way, it isn’t fair for the licensee to be scrutinised in this way for something they are unaware of or haven’t seen, it is completely unfair and unreasonable. To all the past and present customers of the new tiger moth we would like to assure you all the tiger moth is a safe place for the community and would like to publicly apologise for recent incidents that were beyond our control, Deb & Paddy will strive to ensure that the customers of the New Tiger Moth and surrounding community stay as safe and have a welcoming local pub to visit
