Despite multiple rabbits suffered and died from neglect under this despicable fraudulent rabbit rescue - Brenda Andringa was Given Diversion With No Justice For The Rabbits.  Once again, authorities disgracefully failed to uphold the law allowing the abusers and killers of animals to walk free.

Hi,

I wanted to provide you with an update from court this afternoon. Despite many months of our written and oral objections, the judge decided to grant diversion over our objection today. She imposed the following terms:

1.     Two-year period of diversion

2.     A letter of reflection regarding the impact of her conduct on the animals and the community and what Ms. Andringa has done to address such conduct

3.     To own only five named animals (cats and dogs) that she keeps as personal pets

4.     To be subject to search and seizure by Animal Control Officers

5.     Not to run any rescue organizations and to relinquish any 501(c)(3) nonprofit status and any related benefits

6.     To continue with any ongoing treatment and counseling

7.     To engage in additional education related to animal cruelty, safety, caretaking, etc.

8.     Not to commit any new law violations
