County Line Elementary families and New Braunfels community, I deeply value the traditions and relationships I've built over the last few years. My concerns arise from the idea of repurposing the beloved County Line Elementary school into a magnet program. This school is a family, embracing teachers who have given their heart and soul to the students and community for over 20 years.

The proposed changes are more than just physical. They are likely to unravel the tight-knit fabric of our school family. New Braunfels is a town steeped in traditions; an unnecessary change to County Line Elementary affects the core of our cohesive community life.

Moreover, there are several newer schools within the locality that could potentially serve as sites for the proposed magnet program. These facilities, which are presumably better equipped and designed to accommodate the demands of a magnet program, present an opportunity for district growth without disrupting our deeply cherished institutions.

Therefore, I humbly request New Braunfels School District officials to re-evaluate the proposed changes and consider utilizing another school for the magnet program. By preserving the current structure and operations of County Line Elementary, we can continue to honor our rich traditions while pioneering new educational initiatives elsewhere.
