Bonner County Bee explains we are not giving up the fight and will battle until the end. We know the supreme court is ON OUR SIDE because they already ruled against a concrete batch plant to be on an aggregate pit because the land nonconforming property. If it changes the neighborhood, which an asphalt certainly would, we feel confident the ruling would be in our favor as well if this continues up to that level of decision! Hopefully the County Commissioners follow the laws regarding nonconforming land use and how it's illegal to expand or build upon it and adding a permanent conditional use permit (CUP) is circumventing the laws because nonconforming land is to eventually end and allowing any permanent CUP on nonconforming land is changing so it will never end.
Write to our Bonner County Bee to the Letters to the Editor and let them know how you feel!
