Hi everyone. First, I just want to say THANK YOU. Myself and the current and former library staff who've helped with this petition are amazed by your outpour of support for our libraries. 

What's next?

Letters. This weekend we'll have the big letters directly to the Clay and Platte County Commissioners' offices drafted and sent. So, we need you to share this petition and get as many others to sign as possible before Sunday!

Monday morning, it's our hope the decision makers involved will open their emails and audibly say something to the effect of: "Oh! Wow." From there, hopefully, they'll know they need to help.

So SHARE SHARE SHARE!

And stay tuned... because after the first letters go out (along with the spreadsheet of names and comments from this petition) we'll have letter templates for YOU, if you want to make sure your own comment is heard directly. These will also be VERY important. They'll be pre-assembled and ready for you to copy, modify and personalize, and send. We'll even provide the proper email addresses and some tips to make your own letter as effective as possible.

Our support for open and inclusive libraries is LOUD. Together, we have a real shot to make some positive change happen.
