The Country Music Hall of Fame honors Chet Atkins c.g.p., a key figure in shaping modern country music and related genres like early rock'n'roll as a guitarist, producer and record label executive, with an exhibition from August 12th, 2011, to June 11th, 2012. Every year in July, hundreds of Chet Atkins fans from all over the world gather in Nashville to honor this man at the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society (CAAS) Convention. With the current schedule they would be excluded from this special exhibition. Therefore, we ask the Country Music Hall of Fame to extend it until July 2012. Next year's CAAS Convention will be held from July 11th to July 14th, 2012.
