Land for Local Wildlife Rescue

Land for Local Wildlife Rescue
The Issue
Every Feather Wildlife Rescue will have been operating for 10 years in 2021. They are one of the only remaining wildlife rescues in the area and serve the entire of Greater Manchester (and beyond). They desperately need land to set up their sanctuary, rehab centre and education centre. Despite fundraising there is still a long way to go and this is urgently needed given a rise in wildlife requiring assistance this year. Wildlife and the Environment are often overlooked in favour of large businesses and the destruction of Greenbelt land. This needs to change and one step would be by finding land to donate to Every Feather Wildlife Rescue so that it can continue and expand it's work.
As well as offering a much needed local rescue centre, Every Feather Wildlife Rescue wishes to open an education centre so that it can eventually welcome schools, youth groups, charities working with the physically and mentally disabled, the elderly and others. Nature and wildlife has a proven benefit to mental health, including research into dementia. Stephanie Williams of Every Feather has delivered talks to Beavers and other youth groups in the past and was shocked to note that there is a definite lack of education concerning wildlife - with your support this can change.
