This traffic light has been on the priority list for the last 3.5 years from when I requested a traffic count on that intersection however budget has not yet been allocated for it.

There is a region wide priority list as we do not get ward based budget allocation. Being placed on the priority list does not automatically guarantee budget.

Last year we got budget from JRA for the traffic light in Wilgeheuwel and the one on Hendrik Potgieter from Gautrans.

In terms of the traffic calming humps we have 3 on the priority list applicable to schools.
