I've lived in Granada Hills for 13 years and frequently use the 118 freeway to reach my destinations, as do many others in GH and cities in the vicinity. During those 13 years, I have noticed many "almost accidents" occur off of the Hayvenhurst off-ramp coming from the 118 West. Thankfully, those accidents were prevented, however, there are so many that were not. The exit has very low visibility from both directions and is often difficult for drivers to avoid collisions. I have personal experience, both from myself as well as family members and friends who have been hit in this location through no fault of their own. These accidents could have been prevented if there was a traffic signal to help drivers make turns without worrying about their inability to see the North and South directions of the street. Please help make this intersection safer by installing a signal at the 118 West Hayvenhurst exit.
