Playa del Rey Businesses are Hurting - Show Them Some Love

Mike Bonin's "road diets" are killing our local businesses here in PdR. Lisa, the owner of Cantalini’s says her business is way down, and so is that of 62 other businesses she surveyed. They cannot wait for Mike Bonin to fix the mess he created, some have had to take out bank loans just to make payroll and others have had to let employees go. All of our local businesses are hurting and some aren't sure they will still be open by the Holidays. These businesses are an important part of our community, and they are part of what makes PdR such a great place to live. So please join KeepLAMoving/PdR this Saturday, September 16th and support our local businesses! Grab a cup of coffee at Tanners, take a walk on the beach and enjoy an ice cream from Playa Provisions. Drop off that old pair of shoes to be spiffed up, get those pants tailored, and buy your loved ones some flowers. Stay for dinner, and then frequent one of our many late night establishments for a night cap. Fill up at the Mobil station, get a massage on Pershing, and don’t forget to visit the shops and eateries on Manchester and Falmouth. Mike Bonin has NOT kept his word on 30/60/90 day changes, and it has brought our beloved and longstanding local establishments to their knees. Please take part, help spread the word. And don’t limit your patronage to just this Saturday. Our community needs these businesses and — now more than ever — they need us.
