Knighton's Clock Tower has chimed every 15 minutes for 142 years. Due to a recent complaint, Powys County Council and Cadw are investigating the possibility of silencing the Clock Tower. We, the undersigned, recognise our proud history and heritage of such a monument (and the associated chimes) and ask those at Powys County Council and Cadw to allow the Clock Tower to continue to chime.
