The national media are starting to take notice of the Stop Peak Cluster CO2 pipeline campaign.
Peak Cluster was featured on Sky News today. Watch the video from Sky News....includes worrying footage from the Sartartia incident.

Listen out for two whoppers from Peak Cluster CEO Dave Parkin... "obviously the stack is quite visible but yeah it is blended in pretty well....."
And
"We do acknowledge that the impact of a safety incident could be quite severe....but what were focusing on is minimising the likelihood of that" (they've changed their tune on this after the public have called them out on it, previously they were telling everyone it was completely safe)
Whilst we wish to thank Sky News for finally putting out the article (it was filmed several weeks ago, around the time of the Wirral Council Extraordinary General Meeting), we feel that the article didn’t go far enough For example there was no mention of the Above Ground Monstrosity to be built in Meols (the size of 8 football pitches, 4 to 5 storeys high with 50m vent stack), not the massive cost to tax payers. The project will cost £5billion to construct (we do not know how much will be funded by taxpayers) and there is also the on-going government subsidies to the cement industry in order for them to use the pipeline – with some estimates putting the cost of this at £300million per year.
The article is now also several weeks out of date, which much more information about the project becoming public knowledge, such as the plans to ship Europe’s waste CO2, via Tranmere to send it along the Wirral pipeline and to dump it under Morecambe Bay.
