Dear Supporters

Can you spare a few hours this weekend to print and deliver leaflets in your local area to help save our precious green belt?

Time is running out for us to try and raise AT LEAST £40k so that we can have expert representatives at BOTH the Local Plan Inspection and Leverhulme Planning Inquiry Hearings.

The Wirral Green Space Alliance is working tirelessly to challenge these developers on YOUR BEHALF - but we are small in number and WE CAN'T DO IT ALL ON OUR OWN. WE NEED YOUR HELP!

If you have a printer and can deliver some leaflets then please email us on savewirralsgreenspaces@hotmail.com and let us know which area you are in and which roads you can deliver to.

WE PARTICULARLY NEED VOLUNTEERS FROM GREASBY, PENSBY and the area EAST OF THE M53 - (Storeton, Bebington, Bromborough, Eastham)

Pretty much all of the Green Belt east of the M53 is under threat:

  • Redrow want to build 2800 houses in "Storeton Garden Village" between the M53 and Mount Rd, from south of Prenton Golf Club, either side of Lever Causeway and down to junction 4 of the M5
  • Leverhulme have already submitted plans for 118 houses either side of Raby Hall on Raby Hall Rd
  • Story Homes want to build 320 house South of Brimstage Rd, West Of Moss Hey and North of Old Clatterbridge Rd.
  • Wain Homes want to build 370 house of Brookhurst Ave, Eastham
  • Leverhulme want to build 229 houses west of Raby Mere, off Raby Mere Rd 
  • Leverhulmes want to build 1552 houses west of Plymyard Dale off Brookhurst Rd and Keswick Ave
  • PJ Livesey Group / Peter Bowling want to build 45 house on land East of Landican Lane, Storeton Village
  • Taylor Wimpey want to build 250 houses on land north of Lever Causeway
  • Countryside Properties want to build 200 houses on land north of Marsh Lane Bebington
  • Port Dredgings want to build 150 dwellings on land south of Raby Hall Rd
  • Mill Lane Estates want to build 600 houses on land off New Chester Rd, Eastham Village Rd and Rivacre Rd.

Please don't let these Developers destroy our beautiful Wirral. Can you spare a few hours to help out - please get in touch.
