Save Birmingham's nightlife and reinstate the Rainbow Venues license

The Rainbow Venues has had its license revoked, and has 21 days to appeal the decision on the premise that a young clubber unfortunately lost their life whilst potentially being in one of their venues.
Rainbows Security team has always done what it can to stop drugs entering and being used on their premises, closing the venue won't eradicate the problem it will simply move it elsewhere.
So to close the venue, you don't gain a step in the foot in the war on drugs. Instead you lose an institute that has helped put birmingham back on the map.
I'm not from Birmingham, I've moved here from the south east because Birmingham used to represent something more than London. It had the venues and culture without the extortionate cost and a genuine community feel. Closing this venue will be a step back for the city.
Instead of allowing Rainbow to close, let's show our support to a venue that has become an integral part in the unique identity of Birmingham. This show of support is to be brought to the attention of Andy Street, the new Mayor for the Midlands Region and Councillor Alex Buchanan, Chairman of the review Committee that these venues aren't just simply just another club, but a vital part of the community and the promotion of Birmingham.
