Protect Greece from uncontrollable Migrant influx
Only 6 weeks into 2016 with very rough seas in the Aegean and over 90,000 migrants, refugees and pseudo-refugees crossed over from Turkey into Greek islands.
Greece is living an unprecedented austerity phase for the last 6 year, over 2 million people are unemployed, salaries, pensions and wages have been dramatically slashed and the prospects of housing hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of new coming migrants are exacerbating an already dramatic reality.
With borders closing for Migrants all over EU member states (and now FYROM) the prospects of Greece becoming α "warehouse of souls" is not far away.
EU leaders, and the Greek Government, should cooperate in conceiving and implementing a humane and realistic solution before it is too late for Greece and the Greeks
