I was deeply saddened by the recent killing of Cecil the lion. I can't do anything to stop big game hunting but i believe that if the EU banned the import of trophies from big game hunting it would go some way to slowing or at least hinder this heinous act that has no place in a civilized society. The EU has shown it makes laws to protect animals (banning cosmetic animal testing) I hope that if enough people support my petition that it will be considered.
