The architecture education since 1972 has improved and got well-established under the auspice of Council of Architecture (Ministry of Human Resource, Government of India), New Delhi. The time has come for a change to improve the Profession and life of Architecture-Professionals. A bold move of taking COA under the arms of Ministry of Urban-Development, Government of India, would be a right step forward. This would be a great advantage as all construction, design, and planning agencies like CPWD, NBCC, and DTP etc. are under MoUD.

We request the President of COA to consider this petition and take appropriate action to move COA under Ministry of Urban-Development, Government of India, at the earliest.
