*SCROLL DOWN TO CHECK LATEST UPDATE BEFORE PURSUING* The city is closing down the Irenic, which has been used for years as a safe, fun music venue for local and big upcoming touring bands. It's one of the few all ages venues that creates a safe place for music lovers and musicians to share their passion for what they love. We hope that by contacting Councilmember Chris Ward with enough people wanting to keep the Irenic open, he will reverse the closure. Help us reach our goal, so North Park can keep one of the best music venues alive. The Irenic is a wonderful church first and foremost. It is the only sanctuary to many of San Diego's homeless youth, and it too is being shut down. We need to work together to keep this mission going. Please sign and reshare!
