Dear all, The final term for presenting in allegations to the Town Hall is closed now. So far, we have been collecting around 1100 signatures – mainly by the collective lists, some indiviudals, groups and associations. GREAT. The ones, which have not passed through us, we could not count. So it may be well be much more. Other towns, such as Aspe, Monforte, Novelda or associations/groups (such as Uvas embolsadas Vinalopo DOP etc.) promised to address their allegations too. And we’ve collected signatures from H.d.l.Frailes, El Cantón, Macisvenda, from cyclists who tour every weekend to our town and many more. So thanks to all who made efforts to spread the work, gathering signatures and helped us in whatever way. Now, the Town Hall is going to make its decision: will it be one – we quit, given the huge amount of protests and allegations – and things are over soon? Or will they follow the regular/legal path of installing a commission of ‘’wise men’’ to advise them on the weight/validity of allegations and how to proceed? We will inform you as soon as we have more news. So thanks to all, who have been helping, making the effort to get signatures, alerting people or having done whatever was necessary. And to those, who have signed. We hope, our voice will be heard, and that the Town Hall will make a wise decision that the plant does not belong here. In the interest of all of us, the town, the valley, our health and well being. En Español Queridos todos, El plazo final para la presentación en las alegaciones al Ayuntamiento está cerrado ahora. Hasta ahora, hemos recogido alrededor de 1100 firmas - principalmente por las listas colectivas, algunos indiviudals, grupos y asociaciones. ESTUPENDO. Los que no han pasado por nosotros, no podíamos contar. Así que puede ser que sea mucho más. Otras ciudades, como Aspe, Monforte, Novelda o asociaciones / grupos (como Uvas embolsadas Vinalopo DOP etc.) se comprometieron a hacer frente a sus alegaciones también. Y hemos recolectado firmas de H.d.l.Frailes, El Cantón, Macisvenda, de ciclistas que viajan cada fin de semana a nuestra ciudad y muchos más. Ahora, el Ayuntamiento va a tomar su decisión: ¿será uno - deje de fumar, dada la enorme cantidad de protestas y acusaciones - y las cosas se acabaron pronto? ¿O van a seguir el camino regular / legal de la instalación de una comisión de "hombres sabios" para aconsejarles sobre el peso / validez de las acusaciones y cómo proceder?
