The solution for the climate catastrophe that we are facing seems to be a reduction in what we use, specially plastic. We are way past being able to recycle what we use. Even that which we can recycle has a carbon cost in its collection, cleaning and remolding into a new product.

One solution to this enormous problem lies in refilling stations - where a consumer can refill the heavy duty plastic container of detergent / milk / oil and other liquid commodities households use in their daily lives. All it needs are vending stations at the store.

A wholesaler like Costco - with it's own brand products (Kirkland) and stores, is a perfect company to test it out. It would be a perfect match for consumers that are cost and climate conscious. Besides the increase in the sale of their products by consumers wanting to reduce waste, they will also attract new consumers of this mindset. A win/win for Costco, it's climate conscious members and the environment.
