Hi friends,

The last time I wrote this update less than 2 weeks ago, this petition asking Costco executives to stop supporting animal cruelty had just over 17.5K signatures. Today there are over 120K. Thank you to each and every one of you who took the time to sign this petition. With your support, I know that Costco will be forced to seriously consider whether it’s worth preserving the status quo when we are what they’re up against. 

This week, please join me in taking the following actions to pressure Costco to do the right thing for animals:

• Email Costco’s customer service at costcocare@costco.com and let them know you signed this petition (http://chng.it/dvdQLk88Jt) and demand Costco adopt the Better Chicken Commitment.
• Call Costco’s customer service number, let them know you signed this petition and ask them when they can expect Costco to respond to the 123K+ people demanding Costco improve its animal welfare policies. 425-313-8100.
