I am not going to lie. Living in Alaska in winter is living under some of the harshest conditions on Earth. It's cold. It's dark. It's icy. There may not be enough snow to go skiing. And with the price of oil in the crapper it gets harder and harder to justify running off to Cabo for a little vitamin D infusion mid February. So what can ease this pain? Running down to my beloved Costco for the convenient two pack of that heavenly nectar, Kirkland brand Margarita Mix, a bottle of Kirkland Silver Tequila and a flat of peaches. You are one blender away from blowing out a flip flop as the wise mans said. So imagine my chagrin last winter when i went to Costco and was told by the friendly staff that the decision was handed on from above to not carry the mix in the winter months. "It'll still sell" was his 2 cents. Sage words, my friend. 

So let us let the voices of the thirsty unite as one and call out for Costco to ship us some of Kirklands finest so as to allow us to at least get to the Iditarod.
