Costa Coffee have announced they plan to make all their Assistant Store Managers redundant.

This has came as a huge shock to all staff and customers alike, The staff they are planning on making redundant are some of the most experienced in the business and have a huge role in their individual stores.

Costa Coffee have not thought these proposed changes through and do not realise the even bigger detrimental effect it will have on their business going forward.

We plead with them to re look at these plans and look for other ways throughout the business to cut costs, such as stricter ordering to prevent wastage, to halt recruitment of new staff, to suspend or abolish bonus schemes etc etc.
