I do not believe animals should suffer just so we can feel more beautiful. 

Rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, and rats are regularly being blinded, poisoned, and killed to test lipstick, mascara, cologne, and other cosmetic products. Beauty should not come at such a cruel price.

These beauty care company labs apply and inject chemicals into the animals skin, or eyes to test the reaction of the substance to skin and organs.There is absolutely no reason why animals in the U.S. must continue to needlessly suffer and die in experiments to test cosmetics.

Alternatives to animal testing already exist: Humane and safe cosmetics can be made using thousands of existing ingredients, and several non-animal safety tests are already available for new ingredients. These non-animal alternatives are often cheaper, faster and more relevant to humans, and therefore more reliable predictors of safety.

Sign today and urge your U.S. Representative to support for the Humane Cosmetics Act to prohibit animal testing for cosmetics manufactured or sold in the U.S.
