Stephen Kiley started this petition to Corus Media and

Being a Otaku in Canada is Hard With Crunchyroll Only Having Half of the Animes They Have in the States Due to Licensing Issues and VRV Only Being Available in America Only

Back in the Early 2000s There Used to Be Tons of Quality Anime Blocks With Bionix on YTV, Kamakaze! on Razer TV and even Fox Kids/The FoxBox and Kids WB/4kids TV/Vortexx Which Had There American Saturday Morning Feed From the CW/The WB and Fox Carry Over to Canada at One Time in the Late 90s Before Saturday Morning Cartoons Became Obsolete, But These Days The Only Animes That Air in Canada is Pokemon, Yugioh, Beyblade and Other Former 4Kids Dubs/Kids Anime Ether Being Because of the Impact of the Recession of 2008 and Post 9/11 Conflict that Caused it or Due to Poor Licensing Laws Which Holds Back Anime and Other Indie Animation/Art in Canada

Because of This Canadians Who Love Anime Have to Resort to Piracy and Anime is Becoming Less Popular in Canada as Time Goes on and Because of This Inferior Fandoms Like Sports and Sitcoms are More Popular in Canada Then Anime Which in the Late 90s and Early 2000s Had Ratings as High as Shows like The Simpsons and King of the Hill or Even the Superbowl

As of 2019, Adult Swim Broke Free from Cartoon Networks Lineup and is Now a Substitute for the Dying Action Network

This Would Be The Perfect Time to Save The Anime Industry in Canada Before its Too Late

Dont Let Our Precious Anime Become What is Essentially The Probation Era Mixed in With With the Story of Robin Hood

Anime Should be a Hobby not a Right, People Should Not Travel Across The Globe Just to Watch Anime or Go to Conventions Just to Support Anime and Indie Animation
