That is just part of every day Life here in Corpus Christi Texas and no one with any power is helping us do anything about it! People here get these dogs, they don't take the time to spay or neuter them and then once they aren't cute little puppies anymore they just toss them out like trash!! 

We will NOT settle for no action! Because of the actions of irresponsible pet owners the animal shelters are just completely over run. We need a new, NO KILL shelter here in Corpus Christi. The animals should NOT have to pay with their lives because someone decided to give up on them! 

There is a large group of people that live here who care about what happens to these poor animals but the group of people commiting these crimes is even bigger and we need help! You call animal control and they never show up. There should be harsh punishment and fines for people who abuse their animals or won't take the time to get them fixed, then maybe people will think twice before letting it get like this!! 

Along with harsher consequences, we also need to make it more affordable for those who do care about their pets but just don't know where to turn to get their pets spayed/neutered. We need to hold events to help those same people with food, water, treats and first aid for their pets and for people who want to help the poor animals that are on the street! 

Please, we need to come together as a community and be their voice! We need to MAKE them pay attention! These animals are the ones who suffer for their people's mistakes!
