Fingers Crossed!

Good morning all. I sent off an email this morning to the Mayor of Brantford, Beth Goodger, GM of public works, Darryl Lee, the CAO, and John Whalen, who was the contact left in Ms Goodgers out of office message (she isn't in until March 19th). Here is the contents of the letter. I will update if there is a reply: Good morning Mayor, Ms. Goodger, and Mr. Lee, I am writing this morning to hopefully bring to your attention a petition that I have organized that now has almost 400 signatures. We are asking that the city together with the GRCA complete the work on the dike through Holmedale, to hopefully avoid another situation like the one that just occurred during last weeks ice jam. I'm hopeful that this project is already on your list of things to-do, and I'm not sure what proper procedure is now at this point, but if possible, a confirmation from the city that this hole *will* be filled before next years thaw would be the outcome that I, and the rest of us that have signed, would be after.
