So, some have said that the city should be doing this anyway, and I 100% agree. This is hopefully a way to have them understand how serious we are taking the problem, and that we demand a solution. In case you haven't seen, the city is having a Public Information meeting to provide updates and answer questions for residents on Thursday, March 1st 2018 starting at 6:30-8:30pm. It's at the T.B. Costain Community Centre, 16 Morrell St, Brantford, ON. I've added a picture below of what the barricade *should* look like vs what it looked like the morning of the ice jam.
