Coroner's Inquest for Kadie Major

On January 17, 2008, the body of a beautiful pregnant mom, Kadie Major, and her 10 month old daughter, River Lynn, were found in a desolate area by the train tracks off of Oakley Rd in Berkeley County. Within days, the manner of death for Kadie Major was ruled a suicide.

In September of 2018, Sheriff Duane Lewis of Berkeley County Sheriff's Office, announced new evidence had been uncovered and the suicide angle had been ruled out. Later, in May of 2019, Kadie Major's husband, Aaron Major, was named the sole suspect in her death. Here we are in 2021, the manner of death for Kadie Major remains ruled a suicide by Coroner George Oliver. This needs to be changed.

We are asking for signatures to petition Coroner George Oliver to hold a Formal Coroner's Inquest allowing 12 jurors to listen to the facts, call witnesses, and hear testimony rendering a decision for the manner of death for Kadie Major. A Coroner's Inquest is open to the public.
