Aim: To raise awareness of illegal Hunting so that it can no longer be ignored and our wildlife is protected.

In every part of Cornwall every week (during the season) the following Hunts; Western, Cury, Four Burrow, East Cornwall, North Cornwall, Lamerton and Tetcott ,South Tetcott and Lambo Beagles.  Illegally hunt. There is increasing evidence of the blatant disregard for the law, member of the above are caught on camera week after week.

However no action is taken by either the Police or Local MPs. It is time to raise awareness of this matter so that it can no longer be ignored.

The Hunting Act of 2004 passed by UK parliament bans the hunting of wild animals with dogs in England & Wales. 

Unfortunately, fox hunting is just continuing under the guise of trail hunting as according to the International Fund for Animal Welfare, no genuine trail hunting was witnessed at 98% of the hunts observed in 2015, with trails seen being laid at just eight of the 478 hunts monitored.

Hunting foxes with hounds was supposed to have ended in 2005, following the passage of the Hunting Act the year before. But loopholes in the law mean the burden of proof is exceptionally high. This is however no reason to let it go unnoticed.

We need to let our MPs and Police force know that this is an important matter for the the majority of people of Cornwall and that we want to see the law served and our wildlife is protected.

There is regular footage of aggression, drunkenness, trespass and obviously wildlife crime... it is time to speak out. You can see examples on many animal welfare pages across media...it is happening in Cornwall every week.
