St Ives Leisure Centre and it's pool particularly are a key community asset that is used by many in the town and beyond.  The pool is essential for local clubs to operate including St Ives Bay Swim Club, St Ives Surf Lifesaving Club and several of the Schools to give their pupils the chance to have swimming lessons. Both of my children learnt to swim at the pool and swam regularly before it shut due to the pandemic.

Greenwich Leisure Ltd (GLL) are intending to re-open St Ives Leisure Centre and Pool in October but this is dependent on a considerable payout from Cornwall Council which might not happen.  There are other pools in the County and across the Country that need more funding from Government to help them to cover their running costs.
