Even the company chair has resigned over this obscene bonus, from a company that only last year, announced a five-year profit share for its managers of £600m (that's £4m per manager). And guess what folks, this is the same company Phil Mason and our clever Cornwall Council planners like to share champagne and jokes with, whilst covering every Cornish town, farm and green belt with concrete. www.theguardian.com/business/2017/dec/15/persimmon-chair-resigns-chief-executive-obscene-bonus#img-1 And whilst Persimmon build all this nasty, unsustainable, unaffordable, greenbelt, plasterboard rubbish all over our farms, those poor unsuspecting tenants heading for Tolgarrick Farm (Copperfields) and Cathedral View (Treffry Road, Truro) don't realise they're actually falling straight into a healthcare catastrophe: www.cornwalllive.com/news/cornwall-news/royal-cornwall-hospital-black-alert-933453 How many doctors, nurses and other hospital staff could the building boss' 2017 bonus (£128m) pay for, we wonder? Unfortunately, that cash is probably headed for Berne or Bermuda, or maybe grand Cayman. Good luck Cornwall...
