Its main aims state: 1- Sustainable economic growth 2- a better environment 3- creating safer communities 4- improving health and wellbeing Of course, building massive new estates on our green belts, high quality farms and ancient woodland will no doubt accomplish all these things. And whilst Cornwall slips down a place in poverty rankings - to last - millions end up in someone's pockets... developers? Councillors? Planners? Consultants? Politicians? Whilst ordinary residents just end up paying even more for the privilege of having these clever reports and a sewerage-proof Local Plan... One supporter in Truro says: "I cannot believe the planning mess we are in, and in particular the road plans.
