Transport For Cornwall's 34 bus from The Lizard to Redruth, which transports students to Cornwall College is dangerously overcrowded.

Every morning, students are forced to cram onto the bus or worse, they're unable to get to college due to the service being oversubscribed. I cannot stand by and watch students exit the bus to college because they cannot get there in a safe and comfortable way. 

As a user of this service to commute to work, I have spoken to the students and they say their parents have complained to Cornwall College & Transport for Cornwall, requesting a double decker. Informed that a double decker cannot be used on this route, if that is the case, an extra service must be provided.

The students pay for their travel, £85 a month, some paying £6 per day. What are they paying for? They're sitting on the floor, sharing their friend's seat, standing for an entire journey, or,  curled up in the luggage shelves. The bus corridor is so full with people standing or sitting on the floor, that the commuters are at high risk of injury.

This is simply not good enough. It is deterring students from pursuing their education. Please sign the petition and hopefully, they might take this seriously.
