Cork needs to upgrade/resize its outdoor concrete skate facility in the city centre to accommodate the growing numbers of young inner city Cork Skateboarders.

Cork City has lost its indoor skateparks in recent years due to funding issues/insurance and there is now a huge demand for an upgrade to the facility at MARDYKE WALK for the Cork Skate Community!

This Skatepark was built in 2008 and has now a variety of issues from anti social behaviour to basic build quality issues. Ideally the Skatepark needs a considerable size upgrade along with a more reputable ramp co to build it!

Skateboarders are uniting across Ireland like never before in order to get their voices heard! We must try to get the appropriate action from local councils in order to keep Cork Skateboarding thriving for everyone!!
