It shows whether seller is an insurance company, dealer, rental company or adjuster. This information helps buyers to fight fraud and scam that sellers at copart use to make profit.

The scam scheme is extremely easy:

1. Buy heavily damaged car

2. Fix it cheap

3. Sell it at copart

4. Make profit.
