We understand that Jimmy Kimmel "killing everyone in China" is a show. ABC later  agreed that the message is an "egregious" mistake and should never happen only after widespread demonstrations by grassroots Chinese Americans.

Unfortunately, the apologies by Disney/ABC and Jimmy Kimmel as of date have been deemed unsatisfactory. We include them in full context in this petition for the people of United States of America to understand.

 

1. The apology by Disney/ABC on Oct 25th 2013 in letter (or previous communications) was unsatisfactory. Basically it blamed the Asian Americans offended for "lacking of humor".

2. Jimmy Kimmel's personal appearance in various apologies as of date was not satisfactory either. Instead of taking the responsibility honorably "the buck stops here" and remedize the error, he chose to lay finger on the planetary system "today is a weird day" or hide behind "the 6-year did it(!) and we didn't agree". Neither did he bothered or intended to send a clear message to all Americans that racial hatred should never be tolerated or condoned. These told us his real position on the issue. Media report of so called "sincere apologies" had NEVER happened.

 

Although it is about "kill everyone in China" and appeared not directly targeting at Chinese Americans (except for the Chinese American themselves and their families in China), we have since heard reports of incidents like "A mom almost burst out crying when she told us 'kids at my child's school pointed at my child’s head and said, **Kill you all Chinese**’”. 

 

It is not hard to imagine that these are happening because of the publicity and Jimmy Kimmel's insists that there's nothing wrong, it should be treated as an acceptable joke, and no remedial efforts would be warranted.

3. Although the last apology above finally admitted "egregious" mistake and "systematic error", it didn't address any independent investigations or correction measures that can undo the racial hatred on the street after publication of Jimmy Kimmel show and prior "apologies" that encouraged racial hatred against Chinese Americans. 

 

Lastly ABC choose to secretly releasing it and backdated it to November 8th to cover up and prove that they did a "sincerely apology" before Chinese Americans’ "Right to Live" rally on Nov 9th, 2013. This further attempt to carry out additional smear campaign against Chinese American's grassroots petitions told us that Disney/ABC and Jimmy Kimmel Show never had any intention to apologize sincerely. Nor will them do anything to correct it on their own.

The petitioned shall publish monthly report on status of existing Whitehouse petition, change.org on investigation petition and change.org Kansen Chu petition. Detail their individual efforts and effects. If not available, detail efforts to reach out to these petition parties.

The petitioned shall reach out to Chinese American and other supporters, help organizing and coordinateing demonstrations against Disney/ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Show hate speech and boycotting of Disney, ABC and Jimmy Kimmel Shows. If need, be authorized to compile signatories email list and perform donation campaign among all signatories for the purpose of electronic and mail campaign, publication on US top media outlets, and collecting materials specifically for Jimmy Kimmel Show "Killing Everyone in China" Hate Speech protest.

 

The signatories agree not to purchase any Disney merchandise, shows or travel packages while this petition is outstanding. The boycott include but not limit to boycotting of Disneyland, DisneyWorld, Disney Store and Disney Cruise in holiday season of 2013 and 2014.
