CoolMathGames has been unfairly banned on a district wide level for unknown reasons. CoolMathGames is an educational website designed for children to learn about math, physics, etc. The Westerville City Schools District had no reason to ban the website from their schools, as it is an educational website. This statement may be counter claimed by saying that because there are games on the website, it is not appropriate in a school setting. I still deem this as unfair, because most of the games on the website are educational and or made to be used in ana educational way. One of the most popular games on the site, Fireboy and Watergirl is a puzzle game which can we played by up to 2 people at a time, or by one person. In the game you have to move Fireboy and Watergirl around a maze pressing buttons and getting keys to unlock doors in order to escape. If it is played by one person it can increase multi tasking skills. Overall, I find it very unfair that the district has this wonderful website blocked from there schools for no apparent reason whatsoever.
