Just 24 hours in, and we’ve already passed 130 supporters! — thank you all so much for signing, sharing, and caring about making South Seattle greener, healthier, and more climate-resilient.

Here’s what’s happened so far:

✅ I’ve contacted Seattle city councilmembers directly to bring this petition to their attention.
✅ I reached out to South Seattle Emerald, and they’ve confirmed they’re forwarding it to their editor!
✅ Over 350 people have viewed the petition, with support coming in from Nextdoor, SMS, and even direct promotions — incredible!

We’re only 87 signatures away from hitting our next goal. If every signer gets just one more person to add their name, we’ll double that in no time.
