Trees around the world are dying, and it’s happening too quick. Trees all over the globe are dying from drought, excessive gathering for processed wood, insects, fire, and disease. In illinois most trees are dying from Phytophthora ramorum, which is the casual agent of a disease known as sudden oak death. The dangers of trees dying are serious and can put everything at risk. Without trees we’ll have less oxygen to breathe in also certain foods won’t exist anymore. Animals also need trees because they wouldn’t be able to breathe clean oxygen without them and eat food they need to survive. Our goal is to put a end to excessive gathering of trees and stop companies like Walmart from exporting rhododendrons into non native states. 

Our plan is to work together as a community and sign this petition. Once the petition is doing well, we will start up a go-fund-me account to take donations to plant new trees for the years and years to come. All the donations will be donated to TeamTrees.org a fundraiser to raise money to fight deforestation.
