Convince Tally Hall release missing songs, EPs, and albums on Streaming Services.

The Issue

Tally Hall has been a massive part of my and many other people's lives. Unfortunately there is a lot of content that is missing from streaming services both by the band themselves and other side-projects by band members.

Tally hall needs to release their song "Light & Night" onto streaming services because it is so good and has impacted many people who have listened to it but it's audience is limited to super-fans because one would have to know about it and search it out due to it having no presence on any streaming service such as Spotify or Apple Music. Tally Hall released it on vinyl as part of the Turn the Lights Off single from needlejuice records in 2022 and they released it as a hidden pre-gap track on their Good & Evil cds. This makes it clear that Tally hall have no objection to releasing this song in recent years. They could release it in the same way they released their "Just a Friend" cover in 2019. If you want to hear the song I have linked a youtube video here

Unfortunately this isn't the only piece of Tally Hall content neglected by the band. They have also not released their compilation album admittedly incomplete demos. This album has so many interesting early versions of songs (such as the early version of "Sacred Beast" which included an extra verse and a second bridge & the lounge version of "Banana Man") and some songs that didn't make it onto any album at all (such as "Spiced Rum Commercial").

Another project that needs to be released onto streaming is the 2005 version of Tally Hall's debut album Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum. This earlier version of the album (as compared to the well-known 2008 version) has many interesting nuances to it (such as a string opening to "Just Apathy" or a transition between "Ruler of Everything" and "Hidden in the Sand") that are not in the 2008 re-release. Some of these changes make significant differences in the song and make for an enjoyable alternate listening experience to those familiar with the 2008 remake. This could simply be put under the "Other Versions" section of the 2008 version in apple music as to still promote the 2008 version as the default version to listen to and the 2005 version as another version of the same experience. They also should release the 2006 version in the same way (There are not many differences between the two but they should release both).

Two other projects by Tally Hall that need to be released onto streaming are the "Complete Demos" project and the "Pingry EP" which both include early demo versions of songs off Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum (such as the early version of greener which includes a completely different bridge or the extended breakdown section in Banana Man) and include some exclusive tracks (such as yearbook in the pingry EP or Stationary Love in the Complete Demos project). Both of these projects offer a unique listening experience to a listener as compared to their songs album forms and would be greatly appreciated by the tally hall fanbase.

While not exactly a Tally Hall project, Miracle Musical's (which was largely created by Tally Hall members) Hawaii partii, Hawaii part II: part II, and Candle on the water single also need to be released onto streaming services. Hawaii partii offers NES remixes of the songs of Hawaii Part II which sound amazing and are a joy to listen to for a fan of Miracle Musical. Hawaii part II: part II is the admittedly incomplete demos of Hawaii part II containing instrumental versions of the songs and showing exactly how they were produced and having some great demos of the album tracks (such as Time Machine demo 3). Finally, The 2014 cover of pete's dragon's "candle on the water" is legendary and perfectly complements the rest of Miracle Musical's discography and is sorely missed by fans using streaming services.

Finally, The two Joe Hawley solo projects "Special" & yelwaH eoJ yelwaH eoJ need to be re-released onto streaming services. Both were inexplicably removed from streaming services one day for seemingly no reason. Special is a very touching song that lightens up my, and many other peoples days with its very touching lyrics and melodies. "yelwaH eoJ yelwaH eoJ" is a reverse version of the Joe Hawley solo album "Joe Hawley Joe Hawley" which while not seeming like anything special contains the amazing song "Aristotle's Denial" which is one of the best songs off "Joe Hawley Joe Hawley" but is reversed in the normal release of the album. Having the forward version is important as it is one of the key-songs in Joe Hawley Joe Hawley and cannot be understood by anyone who just listens on streaming services. So even if "yelwaH eoJ yelwaH eoJ" is not re-released" please put the forward version of "Aristotle's Denial" onto the main Joe Hawley Joe Hawley album so it can be experienced by fans who listen to music on streaming services.

I find it important for all of these projects to be put onto streaming services as that is the normal way to listen to music now. Many fans miss out on these amazing projects because of them not being included on such services. So I plead to the members of Tally Hall to try to get at least some of these projects onto streaming services.
