This is kind of a joke, but I'm hoping that it will work.

    I'm 15 and I think I am responsible enough for an iPhone, but my dad would say otherwise. He says that "I'm not ready for an iPhone" and stuff like that. My dad will also say "What will an iPhone do that your phone doesn't do already?" I have a Gabb phone right now, and if you don't know what that is, it's basically call, text, camera, and that's all. So, my answer to that "What does an iPhone do that your phone won't do already" question, is that I think if I get an iPhone, that's when it actually turns into a real phone. Gabb phones are meant for 2nd-5th graders (that's when most people purchase it). I am 15 years old, and definitely not in 2nd grade anymore. I think I am ready, and responsible enough to have an iPhone.

    Mind you, I'm not asking my dad to buy me an iPhone, I am asking for permission to buy it with my own hard-earned money. I think since it's my money, I should be able to do what I want with it, and dad shouldn't be able to tell me what I can and can't buy with my own money. Heck, I even got a job at 15 years old, so I could save up for a phone (among other things). I think if this petition got enough signatures, that would convince my dad that I should be able to buy my own iPhone.

In conclusion, it would mean a lot if you sign this petition to help me convince my dad that I'm ready enough to purchase my own iPhone.
