The rest of the world uses the metric system (SI) and the USA will benefit greatly by adopting the metric system fully as the sole system of measurement in this nation and make it much easier to conduct business and communicate with the rest of the world. This will provide a boost to USA industries and make the USA competitive in the global marketplace. Temperature should be in degrees Celsius/Centigrade, human height should be in centimeters, weight in grams/kilograms, road distances in kilometers, speed limits in kilometers per hour, volume and container sizes in liters and milliliters, real estate in square meters, land area in hectares, etc. 

We are already approaching the year 2024 and it is time for the USA to start seriously thinking about its future. The old imperial/customary system of measurement needs to be abolished. This includes feet, inches, miles, yards, ounces, pounds, fluid ounces, gallons, pints, quarts, degrees Fahrenheit, horsepower, etc. Also, only the metric system should be taught in schools, especially math and science classes. We as a nation and as a people should be leading Planet Earth into a new era of scientific and technological progress. The metric system is key to this.

The USA should join the rest of the world and be using a modern system of measurement (metric system) in all facets of life. Everyday life as well as industries. The US population deserves to enjoy a modern organized universal system of measurement.

1. Road distances in meters and km
2. Road speeds in km/h
3. Bridge/clearance heights in meters
4. Height in cm and weight in kg
5. Paper, computer, TV screen sizes, etc. in cm
6. Screwdrivers, screws, nuts, bolts in mm
7. Real estate in square meters
8. Land area in hectares
9. Post office mail in grams
10. Package weights in kg
11. Food package labeling in grams and kg
12. Milk, juice, soda, and other drink bottles measured in milliliters and liters
13. Filling up gasoline in liters
14. Temperatures in degrees Celsius/Centigrade
15. Food nutrition labels in joules/kilojoules and not calories (not sure about this since calories are still based on the metric system)
16. Car engine ratings in kilowatts and not horsepower
17. Torque in Newton-meters (N-m) and not ft-lb
18. And much more!

Also, NFL stadiums should be upgraded to be 100 meters and no longer 100 yards. In fact, all sports stadiums (baseball MLB, basketball NBA, etc.) dimensions should be based on meters, not feet/yards anymore.
