On my frequent visits to the 10400th block of NE 6th Street in Bellevue, I've witnessed chaos and congestion due to the lack of a designated loading zone. This small, cobblestone street, vital for the delivery trucks of FedEx, UPS, and even the USPS Mail, is also a hotspot for Uber and food delivery drivers. With no alternative parking options nearby, these vehicles need to be able to halt on the street, scrambling to serve the businesses and residents with no other traffic to blockade it is nota well used street.
 The intention behind this street is clear: facilitating the needs of the surrounding buildings. However, the absence of a legal loading zone forces delivery and ride-share vehicles to park illegally, creating confusion and potential fines. This lack of available delivery parking is not only inconvenient but also inefficient for everyone involved.

By converting this block into an official loading zone, we can streamline traffic flow, reduce illegal parking, and improve safety for drivers and pedestrians alike. Such a change would align with the city's goals for improving transportation efficiency and accommodating the growing need for delivery services, especially in a bustling area like Bellevue.
